Just prepare these three things and you’ll be fine!!

Tip 1: Prepare a self-introduction! “Think of a simple self-introduction—your name, hobbies, favorite foods, etc. Even when you’re nervous, deciding what to say first will put you at ease.”

Tip 2: Enjoy listening! You don’t have to force yourself to talk a lot. By really listening to the other person, you’ll discover lots of new things. Even just asking questions or nodding along can keep the conversation flowing.

Tip 3: It’s OK not to be perfect! Don’t worry about grammar mistakes or words you don’t know. The other person values the feelings you’re trying to convey most of all. If you don’t know a word, it’s totally fine to use gestures to get your point across!
